The purpose of the The CHOPtionary is to calibrate the reader's intentionality when creating and reading material from beginner to extremely advanced levels. The idea for such a rudimental masterpiece was derived from an ongoing conversation between two legendary composers who aimed to expose the traditional drum culture to a higher level of interpretation and appreciation of different cultures, regions, and traditions. This is the 2nd blueprint to these two authors on captivating what our culture needs from percussion education including works by another creative percussive mind as well to create new innovative hybrid rudiments.
